Terms of Service

Effective October 29, 2026

In short: RV Guardian helps you look after your RV and plan trips. It gives information and estimates, not guarantees, so you stay responsible for how you drive, what you repair and where you camp. Your records are yours. Guardian Pro is an optional subscription through Google Play.

By using the RV Guardian app or the website rvguardianapp.com you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them. “We” means the people who run RV Guardian.

Using RV Guardian

You must be at least 13, and an adult to make an account.
Keep your login to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
Use the app lawfully. Don’t try to break it, overload it, scrape it or use it to harm anyone.

Information, not advice

Routes, bridge and clearance warnings, grade and curve alerts, weather, burn bans, campground and land information, service reminders and repair guides are estimates and general information. Maps and public data can be wrong, out of date or missing.

Always follow posted signs, road conditions, your rig’s manual and the law.
Check your rig’s real height, length and weight before you drive. We use the numbers you enter.
Repair guides don’t replace a qualified technician. Get a certified technician for propane, electrical, brake and chassis work.
Burn-ban and land information says what is usually allowed. Ask the local agency before you light a fire or camp.

Your content

Your rigs, records, photos and notes are yours. You let us store and show them back to you, and to the people you choose to share a rig with. When you post a campground review, a propane report or a community question or answer, you let us show it to other users, with no name or email attached. Don’t post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that belongs to someone else. We may hide or remove posts that break these terms, and posts reported by several people are hidden automatically.

Free and Guardian Pro

The free plan stays free. Guardian Pro is an optional subscription that adds more rigs, cloud backup and sync, rig sharing, exports and spending insights.
Pro is bought through Google Play, at the price shown there, and renews until you cancel it in Google Play. Google handles payment, refunds and cancellation under its own terms.
If Pro ends, your records stay on your device and you can still read them. Only the Pro extras stop.

Your account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time, as described on the delete page. Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

No warranty, and limits on our responsibility

RV Guardian is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work hard on it, but we don’t promise it will always be accurate, uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for damage to your rig or property, injury, fines, missed trips or lost data that comes from using, or not being able to use, RV Guardian. Keep a backup copy of anything important (Rig profile › Back up my data). Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be limited.

Changes

If these terms change we’ll update this page and its date. Important changes will be announced in the app. Using RV Guardian after a change means you accept it.
